WHAT IS THE ENNEAGRAM ANYWAY?

If you are not familiar with the Enneagram or are curious about it, take a minute to enjoy these resources.  This is just a starting point and a way to understand what it is and why it is important.  Hopefully, you will catch the fever and get excited about starting the journey of discovering yourself by using the transformative tool of the Enneagram.

I wrote a blog post about why you should read The Road Back to You by Ian Morgan Cron and Suzanne Stabile. This is the book I send everyone to when they first become curious about the Enneagram.  Ian Morgan Cron wants you to know that they wrote it as a primer for the Enneagram. As you progress on your own personal journey of self-discovery, you will realize that there are many layers to the Enneagram, and this is only the beginning.

In this article entitled: How the System Works, The Enneagram Institute goes into a lot of detail about the different aspects of the Enneagram, such as wings and levels of development.  The Enneagram Institute was created about 30 years ago and has been the first stop of many newbies to the Enneagram.  I consider the founders, Don Riso and Russ Hudson to be the godfathers of the present-day Enneagram as we know it.
